Where Do I Start

The first step to learn more about the HCE Marketplace is to register for the “Getting Started with HCE Marketplace (HCE-120)” course in our Training Centre. This program is the core training that ensures your success with Dual Code's HCE Marketplace. It is a must for administrators and we recommend completing this course during the onboarding process or when you become an administrator for your organization's HCE Marketplace learning environment.

To access the Training Centre, log in to your Marketplace site as an administrator and click on the “HCE Training Centre” link, which is available within the platform as shown in the image below.

Above and beyond the Getting Started course, there are numerous additional resources available to help you master the product.

Virtual Agents. AI-powered Virtual Agents are built into the platform to help every user. They can answer common questions, walk you through key tasks, and link to the right documentation for day-to-day work. If an agent can’t resolve your issue, it will hand you off to the Help Desk to open a ticket for a human support specialist to review and respond. To open a Virtual Agent, click the Help icon in the bottom-right corner of the application.

User Tours. You'll find in various areas of the learning environment user tours, which present additional information on screen. User tours are an effective means to walk users through the navigation of the site, explain how to complete an action or process, and highlight what's new on a recently installed version of the product or even on specific pages. When a new user tour is installed, it will be automatically displayed to users in a modal window in the learning environment itself. If users dismiss the user tour, they can always access it later by clicking on the question mark icon near the top right of the screen.

User Guides. Our documentation contains user guides organized by role (e.g. Account Owners and Account Administrators). If you are an Account Owner, make sure you read both guides, particularly if you will be managing your courses, grades, or are interesting in generating reports.

What's New. If your system was recently upgraded (or is scheduled to be upgraded), you'll want to review the release notes covered in the What's New section. This section is organized by version of the software, and each excerpt explains whether the change is considered a software fix, an improvement, or new feature.

Training & Webinars. Dual Code offers webinars and other helpful resources in our Training Centre. We recommend you attend these webinars live, but a recorded session is also available if your availability does not line up with one of our live sessions.
