Deleting a SCORM Attempt

There may be times (usually while testing a course) when you manually need to delete a SCORM attempt. Perhaps your simply want to delete the attempts that were generated while testing the course, or perhaps the original SCORM file was modified and you simply want to get rid of attempts that are in progress.

Step-by-step guide

To delete a SCORM attempt:

  1. Go to the SCORM activity in question as an instructor or administrator

  2. Go the the Reports tab (see screenshot below)

  3. Select the user attempt(s) you want to delete by clicking on the checkbox in front of the user / attempt

  4. Click on the "Delete selected attempts button" near the bottom of the page


IMPORTANT NOTE: When following the procedure above, the attempts are permanently deleted, but a copy of the learning record (if any) will still exist in the Learning Record Store (LRS). If you need to void the learning record, you can follow this procedure.
