Where Do I Start

The first step to learn more about the HCE is to register for one of our Essentials courses in our Training Centre. These certification programs are the core training that ensures your success with Dual Code's HCE. It is a must for System Administrators and Instructors alike and we recommend completing these courses during the onboarding process or when you become an administrator or instructor for your organization's learning environment.

Above and beyond the Essentials courses, there are numerous additional resources available to help you master the product.

User Guides. Our documentation contains numerous user guides organized by role (e.g. System Administrators, Instructors, Learners). Make sure to select the guide that matches the role(s) you've been assigned in your organization's system.

Knowledge Base. To learn more about best practices, tips, or even help you troubleshoot specific issues, search our Knowledge Base. There are dozens of step-by-step articles that cover a broad range of topics.

What's New. If your system was recently upgraded (or is scheduled to be upgraded), you'll want to review the release notes covered in the What's New section. This section is organized by version of the software, and each excerpt explains whether the change is considered a software fix, an improvement, or new feature.

User Tours. You'll find in various areas of the learning environment user tours, which present additional information on screen. User tours are an effective means to walk users through the navigation of the site, explain how to complete an action or process, and highlight what's new on a recently installed version of the product or even on specific pages. When a new user tour is installed, it will be automatically displayed to users in a modal window in the learning environment itself. If users dismiss the user tour, they can always access it later by clicking on the question mark icon near the top right of the screen.

Training & Certification. Dual Code offers training & certification on its products and services. Above and beyond the Essentials course mentioned earlier, you’ll find in our Training Centre webinars and other helpful resources.

Help Centre. Whether you need help supporting your administrators, instructors or learners, you can enjoy the peace of mind that comes from instant access to our Help Centre. With a wide range of technical support services, our dedicated and knowledgeable Client Services team can provide you with the answers and advice you need to answer your questions or resolve your technical issues when they arise. Please note that the Help Centre is only available to dedicated representatives approved by your organization.
