Searching and Enrolling in Courses
A If your learning environment is managed by your employer, you'll automatically be enrolled in compliance / mandatory courses and those courses will appear on your dashboard. Nevertheless, you may want to enroll in other courses.
You can easily find courses offered by your workplace or any other healthcare organization that has a learning environment powered by Dual Code via the search tool, which is generally available at the top right of the screen.
Step-by-step Guide
To search and enroll in courses:
Enter your search criteria in the "Course search" box and click on the search icon.
The search tool searches through the course's title, description, ID number and for OCI courses, the name of the organization that offers the course.
Select a course from the results by clicking on its title
Follow the instructions to enroll in the course. Some courses may only require you to click on an "Enrol Me" button while others may require you to pick a session date (if the course is instructor-led) or pay for the course (if the organization offering the course charges a fee).
Once you are enrolled, you may complete the course. When you complete the course, a record will appear in your learning history.
Important Notes
The course search will first look through the local course catalogue but will also search the entire OCI marketplace to list matching courses offered by other organizations.
The enrolment instructions may vary from course to course, and from organization to organization.
A user who self-enrolled in a free course can withdraw their enrolment at any time. When unenroll from a paid course, the use must go through a process to request a refund.
