Purchasing a Course
Some courses offered via OCI™ may require that you pay a fee. Whether the course is free or has a fee is up to the organization offering it.
To purchase a course:
Once on the course page, click on the “Purchase course” button at the bottom of the course description
Select one of the options:
“For myself only”. As the phrases suggests, this is for users who simply want to self-enrol in the course.
“For everyone in my organization”. This option allows you to purchase a license that covers everyone within your organization. If your organization has a learning environment that is powered by Dual Code, the number of licenses will be based on your agreement with Dual Code. Otherwise, if you simply registered on My Dual Code (https://my.dualcode.com), your license will cover up to 1,000 users.
“For a specific number of users”. This option is for supervisors or administrators who need to purchase 1 or more licenses for some of their staff but who do not want to pay for a full site license that covers everyone in their organization.
If you selected the last option, specify how many licenses you need.
Click on “Checkout”
Enter (or verify) your contact information. This information will appear on your quote/invoice or receipt and is also required for credit card verification if you are paying by credit card.
Once this information is accurate, click on your preferred method of payment.
Payment by credit card is available for all purchase.
Payment by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) or cheque is only available from select organizations.
Once the transaction is successful, an receipt will automatically be emailed to you. If you selected option A or B in step 2 above, you will also automatically be enrolled in the course once payment is received.
