Epic Administrator

The Epic Administrator is the system’s top-level role, accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the Epic training program. They lead the training team, align the program with organizational priorities, and work with operational leaders, project managers, and Principal Trainers to meet readiness milestones and go-live targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing the overall training strategy and implementation plan

  • Defining training timelines, milestones, and success metrics

  • Coordinating across departments to align training with operational needs

  • Overseeing Principal Trainers, Credentialed Trainers, and Super Users

  • Managing risks and escalations related to training readiness

  • Reporting training status and progress to executive and project leadership
