Managing Activities

A course is essentially an empty shell designed to hold learning activities and resources. After creating a course, the next step is to add these activities and resources.

Step-by-Step Guide

To add activities and resources:

  1. Open the course in question

  2. Turn editing on (if it isn’t already)

  3. Click Add an activity or resource

  4. Choose the activity or resource you want to add

  5. Click Add

Each activity or resource has its own setup requirements.

Activities for Epic Training

For Epic, you will primarily work with three activities:

  • SCORM – contains the videos provided by Epic

  • Face-to-face – used to set up instructor-led sessions

  • Quiz – used to create EUPAs (End User Proficiency Assessments)

Other activities are available if needed, but are rarely used.

Important Notes

  • When creating a quiz, you will also need to import quiz questions provided to you by Epic. The procedure is covered in the Adding Quiz Questions article.
