Credentialed Trainer
A Credentialed Trainer is responsible for delivering Epic end-user training based on the curriculum developed by the Principal Trainer. Before training others, Credentialed Trainers must complete the Epic training program for their assigned application(s) and demonstrate proficiency through testing and teach-backs. They serve as the front-line educators during the implementation phase and often continue to support training post go-live.
Key responsibilities include:

Attending and passing Epic credentialing for a specific application

Conducting classroom training for end users

Providing one-on-one support during and after go-live

Assisting with updates to training materials as workflows evolve

Collaborating with Principal Trainers and operational leads
Specialty Trainer
A Specialty Trainer is an experienced subject matter expert who provides training for specialized workflows within Epic that are specific to certain clinical or operational roles. They may be clinicians, department leaders, or advanced users who focus on niche training needs that fall outside the scope of general end-user training.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering targeted training for specialty areas (e.g., anesthesia, oncology, radiology)
