Team Leader

Team Leaders play a vital role in supporting the successful rollout of Epic by managing the training readiness of their departments or units. They are responsible for ensuring that all staff are assigned to the correct Epic training track and scheduled into the appropriate sessions. Acting as the liaison between their teams and the training team, they help coordinate logistics, manage scheduling conflicts, and confirm staff availability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and confirming training track assignments for their team members

  • Scheduling staff into classroom sessions based on availability and operational needs

  • Indicating whether coverage is required while staff attend training

  • Monitoring completion of training requirements within their team

  • Communicating with the Training Coordinator and trainers to resolve scheduling or attendance issues

  • Supporting staff during the training period and preparing them for go-live

Team Leaders ensure that their departments stay on track with Epic training timelines and that no staff are missed or misassigned, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient go-live.
