In Marketplace, users—except administrators—control their own accounts. As an administrator, you cannot create learner accounts or edit their profiles.
If a user has an account on a Workplace site (Dual Code’s LMS used by employers such as hospitals or long-term care homes), their employer manages that account.Otherwise, users can create their own account at https://my.dualcode.com. Registration is free and takes about a minute.
Self-Registration Defaults
By default, self-registration collects only the essentials: first name, last name, and email address. Optional fields (e.g., affiliated organization) may appear but are not required.
Custom Registration Forms
If you subscribe to Dual Code’s Premium plan, you can add a custom registration form to collect additional information (e.g., demographics). Form design and implementation are handled by Dual Code, and additional fees may apply if not done during your onboarding process. Once enabled, users must complete the profile on first access (or on their next login if the form is updated). Data collected via your custom form is visible only to you and is not shared with anyone else, including the user’s employer.
