Data at Rest
All data stored within the Marketplace platform is encrypted using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 256-bit key length (AES-256)—widely recognized as the industry standard for secure data storage. This includes databases, backups, and uploaded files. AES-256 encryption ensures that, even in the unlikely event of unauthorized access to physical storage, the data remains unreadable and protected from misuse.

Data in Transit
All data transmitted between users and the Marketplace platform is secured using Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.2 or higher, with 256-bit encryption. This includes all web traffic, API calls, and integration points with external systems. TLS ensures data confidentiality and integrity during transmission, protecting against interception, tampering, and man-in-the-middle attacks. This level of encryption makes it virtually impossible for unauthorized parties to access or alter data while it is in transit over the internet.
