Publishing Free Courses

The learning environment allows you to offer courses to the general public for free.

Step-by-step Guide

To publish a free course:

1. Go to the course in question

2. A yellow bar will appear near the top that says “This course is hidden and cannot be accessed by students. Click here to update settings.”. Click on the “Click here to update settings” link.

3. Change the “Course visibility” to “Show”

4. Click on the save button near the bottom of the page

Important Notes

• If you want to unpublish or hide a course, you can simply go to the the course settings and set “Course visibility” to “Hide”. Doing so will hide the course.
